Maintenance Plumber

Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsible to: Site Manager
As the Maintenance Plumber, you will work closely with the Site Manager and Helpdesk Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate complete of the relevant PPM tasks allocated to you,
Key duties:
- Carrying out PPM’s including but not limited to:
- Low Usage Water Flushing
- Tap Temperatures
- Shower Descale
- Water Meter reads
- To attend emergencies, inside and outside of normal working hours (following probation period and when on on-call rota).
- Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and working condition.
- To carry out activities such as, but not limited to, dealing with blocked drains, toilets, leaking taps, replacement toilet seats and flushes.
- Ensuring records for tasks are completed and tasks and hours updated on the CAFM system using PDA technology
- Raising non-compliances found relating to tasks;
- Assisting other trades as/when required;
- Any other reasonable duties as required.
About you
You will ideally have a trade background, preferably M&E biased
In addition:
- You will hold previous experience in a similar maintenance/facilities/ role
- An exceptional and confident communicator - essential.
- Remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Reliable with exceptional time keeping.
- Comfortable working within a team environment. Able to contribute to teams success whilst willingly following instructions
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work requirements, willing to accept change.
- Must be well presented
To assist other maintenance staff
To provide assistance to Site Manager, Helpdesk Co-ordinator and engineers if required with hands on assistance;
- The post holder must at all times carry out their responsibilities with due regard to the Company’s Equal Opportunities Statement

- The post holder must respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with the Data Protection Act.
