Electrical Apprentice

Location – Hemel Hempstead

We are looking for the most vibrant, exciting, enthusiastic candidate who is serious about a career in engineering.

This is a full time role in a Commercial Office, 37.5 hours a week including a day release.

We want team members to be outgoing, customer focused, always willing to help and always willing to own a problem to completion. The apprentice will be a member of our onsite team and needs to be able to go above and beyond to achieve.

Qualification

Minimum Level 2 in engineering working towards level 3

 Skills, knowledge and aptitudes 

Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality.

Able to work under pressure.

Must be familiar with the general risks and hazards associated with building work.

Flexible and able to meet tight deadlines.

Good organisational skills.

Must have reasonable understanding of construction and health and safety knowledge and legislation.

Must be able to demonstrate relevant up to date CPD records.

 

Personal qualities and social skills

Good communicator and able to relate to all levels within organisation.

Client focussed skills.

Able to work on own initiative or as a team player.

Adaptable to the various duties of the post.

Confident and courteous manner, both in person and on the telephone.

Demonstrate ability and commitment to customer care.

Conscientious.

Ability to work as an individual or as a team member.

Hard Services

  • Monitoring reactive and planned PPM
  • Elogbooks & Asset tracking
  • Preparing for moves and storage
  • Projects and big moves etc – Black building, admin preparation
  • Potential moves outside other offices

Mechanical & Electrical

  • Hands on role
  • Plant walk arounds, Water, Fire, 
  • Statutory
  • Small reactive works
