Here we have an exciting opportunity for an entry level individual to join the facilities team at one of the most exciting, vibrant, fun and cool organisations within Dublin. This role will be part of the dynamic facilities team and has the scope to grow in to a career for the right candidate. The candidate will be enrolled on various training courses at the companies expense. We're looking for immediate start.

Job Description

The Facilities Apprentice will support the Front of House team at the head offices of a prestigious online company. This is a newly formed role which will be formed of various FM duties including replenishing tea/coffee/fruit, meeting room set ups, occasional reception cover, post room duties and general administration tasks. The role will have direct interaction with various departments, multiple areas and senior managers across the business. We’re looking for an outgoing, gregarious, big character to join the team to build a ‘Facilities Presence’ within the organisation. We ideally want someone at the early stages of their FM career or someone who is looking to get in to FM at an entry level. People from a high end retail/hotel background will be well suited.

Duties will include:

  • Replenishing tea, coffee, and fruit to the various coffee stations located across the six floors.
  • Assisting the Facilities team with meeting room set ups.
  • Assisting the Facilities team with postal duties.
  • Occasional Front of house management – first point of contact for visitors and staff; answering and transferring calls; maintaining the schedule of allocated vehicle spaces; ensuring the reception and meeting rooms are kept immaculate
  • Occasional Meeting room and hospitality booking, co‐ordinating set ups as requested and assisting with events where required
  • Occasional Taxi and courier booking
  • The candidate must be willing to move around the large building for a considerable part of the day, this will be a physically active role.
  • Some unsocial hours working may be required from time to time

Essential Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Organised, efficient and able to multitask
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of IT software – Office and other business critical software
  • Customer service skills
  • Flexibility
