Pareto FM is seeking a professional, customer-focused Workplace & Soft Services Manager to lead the delivery of workplace services at a prestigious client site.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role responsible for managing Front of House, Cleaning Services, and Grounds Maintenance, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
We're looking for someone who can build strong client relationships, lead high-performing teams, drive service excellence, and create a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.
The Role
As Workplace & Soft Services Manager, you'll take ownership of all workplace and soft services operations across the site, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations.
You'll act as the primary point of contact for workplace services, managing service partners, driving performance, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the workplace experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Workplace Experience & Client Engagement
Acting as the day-to-day lead for workplace and soft services delivery
Building and maintaining strong relationships with client stakeholders
Ensuring services align with client expectations and business objectives
Leading regular client meetings and service reviews
Identifying opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
Front of House Management
Leading and developing the Front of House team
Ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors
Managing reception and visitor processes effectively
Maintaining high presentation standards across public-facing areas
Supporting events, meetings, and hospitality requirements
Cleaning & Grounds Services
Managing cleaning operations and service delivery across the site
Conducting inspections, audits, and quality checks to maintain standards
Monitoring compliance, cleaning schedules, and service performance
Managing cleaning consumables and associated budgets
Overseeing grounds maintenance contractors and external service delivery
Ensuring external areas remain safe, attractive, and well maintained throughout the year
Leadership, Compliance & Performance
Leading, motivating, and developing site-based teams
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training activities
Ensuring services are delivered safely and in compliance with all requirements
Reviewing risk assessments and safe systems of work
Managing contractors and service partners in line with site procedures
Producing reports, KPI data, and service performance updates
Monitoring budgets and identifying opportunities for efficiencies
Driving service improvement plans and corrective actions where required
What We're Looking For
Essential
Experience managing workplace, soft services, or facilities management operations
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience managing Front of House and Cleaning Services teams
Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Good understanding of health & safety requirements
Experience producing reports and analysing performance data
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
IWFM qualification or equivalent
Experience within a corporate office environment
Knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscaping services
IOSH Managing Safely qualification
