About the Role
Pareto FM is seeking an exceptional Account Manager to lead the delivery of an industry-leading Facilities Management contract within one of London's most prestigious headquarters environments.
This is not a traditional Account Manager position.
Acting as the single accountable leader for Pareto FM on-site, you will take full ownership of the contract's operational, commercial, technical, experiential, and reputational performance. You will serve as the strategic partner to senior client stakeholders and lead a highly skilled team responsible for delivering a world-class workplace experience within a luxury global brand environment.
The successful candidate will bring a blend of senior FM leadership, commercial acumen, technical credibility, and exceptional stakeholder management skills, coupled with the presence and professionalism required to operate within a premium headquarters setting.
The Role
As Account Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of the contract, leading both strategic and operational delivery while acting as the principal point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
You will oversee workplace operations, engineering services, smart building performance, contract governance, commercial management, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring every aspect of service delivery aligns with the client's exceptionally high standards.
What You'll Be Doing
Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership
Acting as the single accountable Pareto FM leader for the contract
Building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
Leading strategic contract reviews and performance discussions
Driving the Year 1 service roadmap, including mobilisation, optimisation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Sponsoring innovation and service enhancement opportunities across the account
Managing the contract risk register and mitigation strategies
Operational Excellence
Providing visible, hands-on leadership within the building
Leading daily operational reviews and service coordination meetings
Overseeing workplace service delivery across engineering and specialist service functions
Ensuring event readiness and operational support for key client activities
Driving exceptional service standards throughout the workplace
Smart Building & Performance Management
Owning the contract KPI framework and overall service performance
Leading performance reviews and data-driven service improvements
Supporting the effective operation of smart building technologies and integrated workplace platforms
Driving demand-led maintenance strategies through data analysis and insight
Ensuring accuracy of reporting, asset information, and operational records
Team Leadership
Leading and developing the on-site Pareto FM team
Creating a high-performance culture focused on service excellence
Supporting succession planning, development, and capability building
Ensuring teams consistently meet the standards expected within a luxury headquarters environment
Championing presentation, professionalism, and customer experience
Commercial & Governance Management
Full responsibility for contract P&L performance
Managing budgets, cost control, and commercial reporting
Overseeing subcontractor performance and commercial relationships
Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, governance requirements, and service levels
Maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company standards
What We're Looking For
Essential
Significant leadership experience within Facilities Management or Workplace Services
Experience managing premium corporate, luxury, headquarters, or high-profile client environments
Proven ability to build relationships with Director and Executive-level stakeholders
Strong commercial and financial management capability
Experience leading multidisciplinary FM teams
Strong understanding of workplace operations, compliance, and service delivery
Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
Demonstrable experience delivering operational improvements and service excellence
Desirable
Experience operating within smart building environments
Strong technical understanding of engineering and building services operations
Authorised Person or engineering leadership background
Experience managing workplace technology platforms and performance reporting
Relevant Facilities Management, Engineering, or Leadership qualifications

Team & Support Structure
Leading the on-site Pareto FM team, including engineering, contract support, and specialist service functions
Working closely with client workplace leadership and workplace partners
Supported by Pareto FM senior operational leadership
Acting as the principal interface between Pareto FM and key client stakeholders
