Pareto FM are seeking a highly skilled, forward thinking, positive, and dynamic Multi Skilled Building Engineering Lead to lead the operational delivery of technical services for our client flagship building in Old Street.

The person needs to be a team player, who will always go above and beyond to achieve.
This is an important role within the site and will equally be expected to support and work with wider management teams, raising standards and making continual improvements.
Key Skills:
· In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
· Previous experience of performing a Building Services Engineer role
· Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality
· Relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering
Role Responsibilities:
· SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES
o In depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
o Must be able to work unsupervised to a high quality and fact within a fast-paced environment
o Perform and complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring all building systems function optimally.
o Electrically biased but with good knowledge of mechanical and building services
o Must be familiar with the general risks and hazards associated with building work.
o An understanding of legal compliance; as well as how to achieve and maintain to a high standard.
o Great communicator for both internal and external stakeholders
o Have a good eye for innovation and improvement of existing systems and processes
o Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Windows & G-Suite based systems
o Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
o Supports the clients on-site Facilities Team in the day-to-day running of the Technical contract, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with contractual obligations.
o Monday- Friday (40 hours per week) 08.00 – 17.00
· SPECIFIC PROCEDURES & TASKS
o Overall responsibility for timely completion of all maintenance and reactive tasks associated with client assets, The first line of response for all associated M & E and fabric issues.
o Perform and complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks, ensuring all building systems function optimally.
o Update and maintain associated paperwork and digital records for all maintenance activities
o Carry out regular and periodic inspections (including all statutory, mandatory requirements and insurance inspections) to maintain efficiency and safety of M&E installations including fire safety, firefighting equipment, and security systems, liaise with client staff over specific requirements.
o Maintain records and computer-based record management systems to nationally agreed standards including statutory testing and inspection, technical records, files, diaries, drawings and reports.
o Carry out necessary maintenance works on M&E services and installations including electrical systems, heating and hot water installations and be able to competently supervise works on, lifts and other relevant systems etc.
o Ensure works are completed to standard and against budget and meet with key client requirements and satisfaction reporting back at regular intervals to the Pareto FM Account Manager and client elected liaison.
o Support the arrangements in place to enable subcontractors to undertake routine and emergency breakdown maintenance both in and out of hours.
o Assist the client in setting maintenance prioritize and forward programmes budgets.
o Audit, supervise/ check any works on completion.

o Undertake other works of a similar nature as required and directed by the client and Pareto Account Manager.
