Electrical Engineer – Facilities Management
📍 London (with travel to other sites as required)
🕒 Full-time | 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday
💷 £42,000 + travel
📞 On-call: approx. 1 week per month
Pareto FM are looking for an experienced Electrically Biased Facilities Engineer to join us on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you’ll take ownership of site electrical systems, compliance, and maintenance — acting as the go-to engineer for the client.
This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, takes pride in high standards, and wants to work in a professional environment where engineering judgement is valued.
What you’ll be doing
Carrying out PPMs and reactive maintenance across electrical and building services systems
Owning maintenance issues from start to finish and keeping clients informed
Ensuring statutory compliance across all M&E services
Supervising contractors and ensuring RAMS and safety standards are followed
Supporting lab environments and minimising downtime during critical testing
Maintaining accurate records on CAFM systems
Providing technical advice to clients and the FM team
Participating in an on-call rota (approx. one week per month)
What we’re looking for
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation/Maintenance
AM2
18th Edition (BS7671)
Experience in Facilities Management or Building Services
Comfortable supervising contractors and managing site activity
Strong understanding of compliance and safe systems of work
Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
Desirable (not essential)
Inspection & Testing (2391 / 2394 / 2395)
IOSH Managing Safely
Experience in lab, healthcare, commercial, or critical environments
