Main responsibilities of the Job
The ideal candidate will have pro-active approach to all PPM and reactive tasks at Checkout.com To be competent in electrical and mechanical works. Be able to communicate with and organise external contractors along with any compliance issues on the site. This is a hands-on roll that is ideal for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in the FM environment
Job Description / Main Purpose:
- To receive reactive and ppms task from elog books
- To ascertain the materials required and to request these from the relevant appointed Account Manager
- To discuss and plan with the relevant appointed staff for carrying out the tasks.
- To ascertain the exact specifications for the task, possibly by discussion with the Account Manager from working drawings or plans.
- To refer any arising issues to your Account Manager and to report on completion of each task.
- To undertake urgent Building services maintenance and repair tasks as they arise.
- To use all equipment and materials in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
- To ensure that client and company tools and equipment are kept in good order and report any faulty tools or equipment to the Account Manager.
- General day to day running of the site.
Knowledge and Experience
Vocational and Technical Skills
Desirable
Nvq level qualification in plumbing or electrical would be desirable but not essential.
Experience
The job holder will be required to have experience within building, maintenance and construction working practices and procedures, especially matters concerning Health & Safety.
Interpersonal Skills
When dealing with client personnel and at all levels, the job holder must use tact and diplomacy in order to get co-operation from client personnel and when dealing with visitors.
